Heald Street Farm Tour

The horse farm consists of a three story barn with five horse stalls in the bottom floor. It is a bank barn with a drive up second floor, and a hay loft in the top floor. There is a well-drained riding ring and the horses are on green pasture, and have turn out most every day (weather permitting).

Please be patient...

This image may take a little while to download, but this is fun stuff! This is a QuickTime VR file image of the farm. If you do not have the QuickTime plug-in, click here to download it for free.

There is also a tour from the top of the Silo, and another from the roof of the house.

Barn

Hey, what is a farm without a barn? Ours is a three level bank barn that was built in several stages. We have been rebuilding critical parts of the barn to help keep it alive. Horses are on the bottom floor with a walk out to the pasture.

Riding Ring

The riding ring measures 72 ' x 125'. It is well-drained, has a good riding surface and is usable most any time there is no snow on it.

Front Pasture

There is a second pasture in the front along Heald Street. This is used on a rotational basis to give the main field a rest.

House

Here is the house, barn, and garage. They are all connected together which helps on winter days. The circular driveway allows a truck and trailer to be driven in and out without backing up. Click here for a view from the roof!

Silo

Doesn't everyone have one of these? Real handy if you like collecting pigeons. Click here for a view from the top!

Tractors

We have a 1947 Ford 8N, and a 1964 Ford 4000. Both are work horses. What's a farm without a couple of Fords?
