| This, my second trip to Normandy, was during the 66th anniversary of D-Day. I stayed mostly in the American sector around Sainte-Mère-Église, but did a lot of traveling around. Beautiful country and a very inspiring trip. There were a lot of French and American flags flying side-by-side. Not just on the businesses catering to the tourists, but in people's yards, kid's bikes, everywhere. Click on any thumbnail for a larger image and a brief description.
